Getting to Bratislava
Bratislava (BTS) airport is served mainly by low-cost carrier Ryanair from several European destinations. The closest airport served by regular carriers is Vienna (VIE), located approximately 1 hour from Bratislava. In most cases, Vienna airport is preferrable to Bratislava.
From Vienna airport you can reach Bratislava by a direct bus connection approximately two times per hour. Buses by Slovak Lines go to the main bus station Mlynské nivy. FlixBus and RegioJet serve Most SNP bus stop. Tickets can be purchased in the arrival hall or directly from the driver.
Accommodation
The following accommodation can be booked within a walking distance of campus, also with an easy access to the Bratislava city center:
- Družba hotel (low-cost student)
- Sorea-Regia hotel Bratislava
A pleasant alternative may be an apartment (e.g. through AirBNB) in Bratislava old town (city center), which is approx. 15 minute tram ride from campus.
Please note that it is generally not possible to park a car in Bratislava city center or at Družba hotel. The campus has free parking, so if arriving by car, it may be a good option to park on campus and use public transport to move around.
